As a UI Tech Artist, you will be responsible for executing UI design in-engine with a keen eye for detail at all levels. Acting as a bridge between art and programming, you’ll use your problem-solving skills to deliver the best possible solutions within the constraints of time, budget, and tech.
While maintaining consistently high visual quality, you will also ensure that every UI element meets performance standards through solid technical expertise. You’ll be encouraged to propose innovative solutions that align with the highest industry standards.

What You Will Do:

  • Implement static and animated user interfaces that are intuitive, easy to navigate, and effectively convey information for an optimal user experience
  • Develop technical and artistic solutions, particularly by creating shaders and advanced VFX
  • Establish and follow clear, efficient production pipelines
  • Create and maintain optimized UI libraries within the production setup
  • Integrate, debug, and optimize UI elements in the engine, following best practices for performance
  • Communicate and collaborate with all disciplines to deliver features on time, aligned with the UI style guide and with the player’s best interest in mind

Profil recherché

What you bring

  • 2+ years of experience in a similar role in the video game industry, ideally on AAA productions
  • Experience with node-based scripting or programming languages (C#, Python, Java, etc.)
  • Knowledge of shader creation using node-based systems (HLSL/GLSL)
  • A strong eye for quality and visual design
  • A solid understanding of UI/UX considerations
  • Strong experience with game engines such as Unreal Engine
  • Familiarity with design and prototyping tools such as Adobe Creative Suite and Figma
  • A positive attitude and the ability to give and receive constructive feedback
  • Strong collaboration skills and fluency in English
